MACP Participates in ATLAS Workshop in Bangkok

From 18–19 June 2025, MACP had the privilege of attending the ATLAS Workshop in Bangkok, Thailand, organized by BMAT (Barcelona Music and Audio Technologies).
This regional workshop brought together collective management organizations (CMOs) from across Asia, including FILSCAP (Philippines), WAMI (Indonesia), MCT (Thailand), Laos Music Copyright Office (Laos), the Macao Association of Composers, Authors and Publishers (Macao), and the Mongolian Society of Music Authors (Northern Mongolia).
The two-day training focused on the ATLAS system, a documentation and distribution platform designed to enhance data matching, increase the accuracy of royalty processing, and support cross-border music usage tracking.
By participating, MACP strengthened its technical knowledge of the system and gained valuable insights into how such tools can improve transparency, efficiency, and fairness in the distribution of royalties for its members. In addition to the technical training, the workshop also served as an important platform for MACP to connect with regional counterparts — sharing operational best practices, fostering mutual learning, and reinforcing collaboration in the spirit of collective progress.
MACP extends its sincere appreciation to BMAT for hosting a well-organized, engaging, and forward-looking event. Your continued support for CMOs is helping to shape the future of music rights management across Asia and beyond.
At MACP, we believe that progress begins with knowledge, and we remain committed to embracing innovation that empowers music creators and strengthens the industry as a whole.
