The objective of the Music Development Fund (MDF) is to promote a higher standard of local music in Malaysia.  This Fund is administered by a committee appointed by the Board of Directors.  A sum is allocated from MACP's annual revenue to organize social, cultural and educational activities such as providing music study grants, interest free loans to purchase music instruments, sponsor and promote musical activities both in and outside Malaysia. A benevolent fund is also set up to help members in need.
