CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers) is an umbrella body for copyright societies of authors and creators around the world, including MACP. More information on CISAC can be found from its website at www.cisac.org.  MACP has signed reciprocal representation agreements with over 50 music copyright societies around the world for purposes of protecting the rights of composers and authors in each other’s territories. With this arrangement, MACP administers in Malaysia not only the rights of its own local members but also the rights of composers and authors from other parts of the world.
